THE JOURNEY OF LAND CONSIDERED AS THE HEAVEN FOR ARABICA TO STANDARD FARM

Introduced into Vietnam since the 19th century by French missionaries, from which Vietnamese coffee trees have written the journey to flourished until today. Arabica does best at 1200-1800m altitudes climate, soil suitable and is often grown in hilly areas.

With an altitude of over 1,500m above sea level, along with a cold climate and foggy weather most of the year, Cau Dat is a paradise for Arabica coffee plants.

Cau Dat has the geography characteristics and climate condition similar to the regions in Brazil, Columbia where produce the best Arabica coffee beans in the world: basalt soil, average temperature within the range between 18 degree to 22 degree, rainfall limited from 1,800mm to 2,600mm per year. 

Those are the most suitable and essential conditions so as to generate the most high-qualified coffee.

Farms joined together to form the cooperative. To cultivate quality coffee using sustainable practices and farmers could learn from one another, share best practices, and export their specialty coffee together.

Each stage of coffee production, from growing through to brewing, requires different expertise and technical know-how. Arabica Cau Dat coffees go through a variety of steps of evaluating the cup quality from coffee experts.

Blagu  cooperate with coffee farms,chose to use the quality evaluation process by the Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCAA) standard.
