Guru – The Master Roaster – is the heart of Blagu’s creation. Each day, he stands before the roaster with stillness and intent, reading the subtle language of heat and time. The moment the first crack whispers, the fragrance shifts, and the coffee begins to bloom — he knows it’s ready to speak.

For Guru, roasting is not a routine. It’s a dialogue. He listens to every origin Blagu brings back from its journeys — the floral clarity of Ethiopia, the citrusy warmth of Peru, the velvety sweetness of Vietnam — and transforms them into harmony through patience, precision, and passion.

“A good roast doesn’t shout,” he says. “It lingers — quietly, confidently — like a melody you can’t forget.”

His craft is both scientific and spiritual. Armed with Bühler technology and guided by intuition, Guru measures every curve of heat, yet never forgets that true flavor lies beyond the numbers. His process is a dance of control and surrender — the kind that only decades of practice can perfect.

Guru’s journey began in the Central Highlands of Vietnam, where he learned to see roasting not as production, but as interpretation — an act of respect toward every farmer, every bean, and every story they carry.
